The views of the estuary On its left bank, within the municipality of Bilbao are Abando, Indauchu and Zorroza.
Santander Station, the Uribitarte and Abandoibarra promenades are traversed by its eco-friendly electric tram, leading to the unmistakable Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, a symbol of the new era the city is experiencing. Further along, the Zubiarte shopping center offers shopping, dining, and cinemas. Next comes the Euskalduna Palace, followed by luxurious hotels like the Meliá Bilbao Hotel and parks. Finally, the Itsasmuseum Bilbao (Bilbao Maritime Museum) features exhibitions about the city's maritime past.
Further north are the municipalities of Baracaldo, Sestao and Portugalete and, at the mouth, Santurce and Ciérvana.
