This cathedral is one of the Castilian buildings that has preserved the most medieval stained glass windows. Its construction ranges from the 14th to the 17th century, in addition to the restorations of the 18th century, with an evolution typical of the passing of the years and changes in style. The oldest stained glass windows and also the most appreciated for their beauty are those in the transept rose window and some in the ambulatory, although these have a duller color. Then there are those of the main chapel and those of the north arm of the transept on the east side that present enormous figures of saints and apostles.
