Taula Print from Torralba, MENORCA
Art print from the Spain Series. Taula de Torralba in Menorca
Chronologically it is located between the year 1000 BC and Roman times, and lasted until the Middle Ages.
The Taula, of great elegance, reaches 3m high by approximately 2 and a half meters wide, and perfectly demonstrates how the Talayotic men knew how to combine in it the weight and rotundity of the stone with an almost aerial notion of forms.
In it, a swollen altar of virgin rock was found that inside contained the remains of a small bronze sculpture representing a horse. Next to this, another sculpture in the shape of a bull cast in bronze was found, which was given the name Toro de Torralba and which can be found in the Museum of Menorca.
