Taula Print from Torralba, MENORCA
Art print from the Spain Series. Taula de Torralba in Menorca
Chronologically it is situated between 1000 BC and the Roman era, and lasted until the Middle Ages.
The Taula, of great elegance, reaches approximately 3m high by 2.5m wide, and perfectly demonstrates how the Talayotic men knew how to combine in it the weight and the solidity of the stone with an almost aerial notion of the forms.
There, they found a swollen altar of virgin rock containing the remains of a small bronze sculpture of a horse. Next to it was found another bronze sculpture in the form of a bull, which was named the Bull of Torralba and can be found in the Museum of Menorca.
Printed sheet on 320 gsm paper. High-quality embossing. Measures 23 x 23 cm.
