Plaza de la Reina print, VALENCIA
Art print from the Spain Series. Plaza de la Reina in Valencia
The Plaza de la Reina is dedicated to Queen María de las Mercedes of Orleans, the first wife of King Alfonso XII; therefore, its full name is Plaza de la Reina María de las Mercedes. It hasn't always had this name; during the Republic, it was called Plaza de la Región Valenciana, and for a short time, Plaza de Zaragoza. The Miguelete Tower is the bell tower of Valencia Cathedral. The Miguelete is a Valencian Gothic-style tower, 51 meters high to the top of the terrace, the same as its circumference, and 63 meters in total. It has an octagonal prism shape and 207 steps.
