La Concha Bay is the iconic image of Donostia/San Sebastián: the most classic, the most photographed, the most visited. La Concha beach is the most central in the city; stretching from the City Hall to Pico del Loro, its kilometer and a half of white sand exudes elegance and urbanity.
Along the Paseo de la Concha we find several elements with their own personality and recognized outside the city: the Concha railing (one of the most universal icons of the city, unmistakable thanks to its ornamental shapes), the lampposts (which serve as a prize in the Film Festival), the area of "the clocks" (main access to the beach), the area of La Perla.
