The most populated city in the United States, it is home to numerous skyscrapers, of which 112 exceed 180 meters in height. Currently, the tallest building in New York City is One World Trade Center, with a height of 541 meters. The third is the Empire State Building, 381 meters high (if we include its antenna it is 443 meters). It was the tallest building from 1931 to 1972, when the North Tower of the World Trade Center was completed. The Twin Towers were destroyed in the 2001 terrorist attacks, so the Empire State regained the title of tallest building in the city. In April 2012, the One World Trade Center, still under construction, surpassed it. The fourth tallest building is the Bank of America Tower, at 366 meters. In fifth place, with 319 meters, we find the Chrysler Building and in sixth place is the New York Times Building, completed in 2007.
