The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre is an important religious temple located in Paris. It is located at the top of the Montmartre hill.
The floor plan of the building is more central than basilica. It is shaped like a Greek cross, adorned with four domes: the central dome, 80 m. high, it is touched by a lantern, formed by a colonnade.
In the apse, an immense square tower serves as a bell tower that houses, among others, the Savoyarde, a bell 3 m in diameter and weighing 18,550 kilograms, offered by the diocese of Chambéry. The crypt has the same layout as the church, and is one of the curiosities of the basilica.
