Art print from the Malaga Series. Puerto Banus

Project by architect Noldi Schreck, who participated in the design and construction of Beverly Hills, he was visited in 1966 by Prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe, to ask him to build the Beach Club of the Marbella Club Hotel. He proposed building an Andalusian town with a marina, the first port built by a single architect. Together they managed to give it the touch of sophistication that Puerto Banús achieved.
The lavish complex had its opening in May 1970. It was attended, among others, by the Princes of Spain Juan Carlos and Sofia of Greece, the Princes of Monaco Rainier and Grace Kelly, the Aga Khan, Roman Polanski. A young Julio Iglesias was hired to liven up the gala.
