Art print from the Spain Series. Roman Aqueduct of Segovia
Built in the early 2nd century AD , during the reign of Emperor Trajan, the most visible part is the arcade that crosses the Plaza del Azoguejo. At its highest point, it measures 28 meters (with approximately 6 meters of foundations) and has two tiers of arches resting on pillars. In total, it comprises 167 granite blocks laid without mortar.
