Saint Clement of Tahull Art Print, LÉRIDA
Art print from the Spain Series. Church of San Clemente de Tahull in Lleida
It was consecrated on December 10, 1125. It is a Romanesque church with a perfect basilica floor plan. The walls are completely unadorned and are only interrupted by the doorways. The apses feature a very simple and harmonious Lombard style of decoration. The bell tower is square and freestanding, although built very close to the main body of the building. It belongs to the group of towers contemporary with those in Italy built in the 12th century. All the towers in the Bohí Valley follow the minaret canon, in which the height is equal to the perimeter.
