Art print from the Spain Series. Charco Verde Beach in Lanzarote
The lagoon is a designated nature reserve and is located within a geomorphological unit belonging to Timanfaya National Park. On its eastern shore lies an elevated area corresponding to a volcanic crater whose last eruption dates back to the 18th century, and on its western shore is a black sand beach where olivine deposits can be observed. Charco Verde has acquired its greenish hue due to a type of algae, Ruppia maritima, that lives within it, as well as the sulfur present in its waters.
Printed sheet on 320 gsm paper. High-quality embossing. Measures 23 x 23 cm.
